Coupled with DISH Pay As You Go, this is a mobile customer's ultimate package for satellite TV on the open road. DISH's Pay As You Go program is simple & effective: No Activation Fees. No Disconnect Fees. No Restart Fees. Current DISH subscribers can add outdoor TV for just $5/month per receiver.
Please note: While all non-local programming are accessible with a DISH Playmaker, only locals that broadcast satellites 110°, 119°, 129° or 61.5 will be available.
The Wally offers single tuner functionality with a smaller frame and expanded capabilities including the ability to enjoy a variety of apps and other great features. This new smaller design (10.41”w x 1.60”h x 8.11”d) allows for fitting into tight spaces. Included is an RF remote that allows you to freely operate the receiver up to 200 feet away, even through walls and obstructions. Never lose your remote again with the new Remote Finder feature. A chime guides you to the remote's hidden location.
Wally may be remanufactured.

I bought the Playmaker Dual. Works as advertised on main receiver connection. Ease of setup is great. In the past I have spent hours and sometimes days trying to get my DTV dish lined up and tuned in. The only complaint is when it comes to the secondary receiver. I have had to call for tech help 3 days in a row. I realize the secondary can only view channels on the same satellite that the main receiver is watching at the time. For some reason, it takes a good 30 minutes to get the secondary receiver to get the guide data downloaded and then you can’t watch the same channel the main is watching (which is not a big deal, but just don’t understand why). One tech told me that he thought there was a problem with the output on the dish secondary coax connection and suggested taking to a retailer, but then a few minutes after getting off the phone, the channels started coming in. I need to understand the logic of what is going on to be completely happy, but overall I’m satisfied.

I ran into some issues when starting up the system but called Dish RV and their techs walked me through it and it works great.

Connected everything and this antenna worked great. Didn'texactly have a totally clear view of the southern sky, but it still brought all the channels in clear.

In less than an hour after delivery, I was up and activated. I purchased for my RV and did a test setup on my property. I was very impressed how quickly the PlayStation found the Satellite.

So far it works good. Haven't had time to really play with it yet, since we went home to our home a week after getting the dish.

Ok for single tv. Second tv must be on same satellite but you have to go to a website to find what channel each satellite is on is a PAIN ...
Go to uplink.jameslong.name to find out what channel each satellite has . Not even a Dish web page. I was told 2nd tv won't work because I put 2 cables together to get to Sat. I was Told No connection other then both ends, but then they Sold me a flat wire to go thru a Window you must add extra coax to as both ends are male. 2 cables meeting in the mid area of my rv limits wher you can put your dish i dont want to climb on my roof every time i move to find the mid point for cables.

All automatic!! Once you have a clear view of the southern sky it finds the SAT's and your ready to go. The receivers take some time to get through the initial set up process (activation, guide download, etc.). I did have to call for Tech support when I kept getting error message about signal loss (thought maybe a bad receiver). Once the Tech wasn't able to help me any longer, 15 minutes later it was working fine.

I didn’t find it to be a plug-n-play device. It real needs a North - South indicator embossed on the dome rather than just using the handle for north I think. I use the compass app on my cell phone to align by sitting my cell phone on top of the dome to alignment of North. In Yellowstone, with the mountains and forest, it took a few tries before it locked on to a satellite. However, the fact that it did ultimately find the satellite under the circumstances I would say is an endorsement.
