DISH Wally® HD Satellite Receiver
The DISH Wally® HD Satellite Receiver is the newest mobile receiver with a suite of new features for an enhanced user experience.
The Wally offers single tuner functionality with a smaller frame and expanded capabilities including the ability to enjoy a variety of apps and other great features. This new smaller design (10.41”w x 1.60”h x 8.11”d) allows for fitting into tight spaces. Included is an RF remote that allows you to freely operate the receiver up to 200 feet away, even through walls and obstructions. Never lose your remote again with the new Remote Finder feature. A chime guides you to the remote's hidden location.
Feature Enhancement Accessories:
- Wi-Fi USB Adapter: Connect to a wireless network to enjoy streaming videos and other web apps including the Weather Channel and Game Finder.
- Bluetooth USB Adapter: Enjoy your sound by connecting a wireless speaker using the adapter.
- Over-the-air Tuner: Pull local over-the-air channels into your program guide through this adapter.
- DVR Upgrade: Record your favorite shows and movies to watch anytime you want.

Finally!! A DVR service that people who use their RV like my husband and I do for the majority of the year!! It just plugs into your box and the tv, you don’t need an extra outlet; it’s small and user friendly as well. I’ve been waiting for something like this for about 5 years! Thanks DISH!!

We went to a campground they didn't have cable and our antenna didn't pick-up anything. We looked around and saw Dish satellite antennas near everyone's rigs. That's when we decided to get a Dish satellite system for our camper since we already had it in our home.Now we'll never be without TV again.

A bit pricy for a one TB drive, but works fine. No seperate power supply if you are wondering. Powered via the USB cord.

New customer for Dish and Pay-As-You-Go for our RV. The Wally takes very little space and setup/activation went well . There is a learning curve but everything worked without issue. We look forward to using Dish in our future RV outings.

Call first to activate, it will save a lot of set-up time.
Much more convenient than my old, steel 211 receiver. I added a Bluetooth option which also works well. It would be a little more flexible if it had a digital-audio output. -

Love the size and the RFI remote. Would get at least 4 stars if there were enough ports to add internet, bluetooth, a hard drive, plus local channels!

Perfect receiver for our RV. We get all the channels that we get at home. Very easy to set up with the Playmate dish. Fully automatic.

Nice upgrade from 211z. Smaller. Easy setup. Better remote. Probably shout have OTA antennae and Bluetooth built in.

Only one tuner

Wally works very well. Only exception is it only has one tuner, which means if you are recording a show, you have to watch same show while recoding it. At minimum, I would like two tuners so I can watch a different channel while recording another.

The new Wally is a big upgrade from the Z211 we have had for years. It was easy to set up. We have not tried it on an RV trip yet. I will let you know more once we have taken a trip. The only thing that is not working completely correct is the voice commands. It will work with some searches, but some searches say there is no results. I know those are known shows that should come up.

This would be a great receiver if it had the ability to have 2 tuners so the user could record one show and watch another at the same time. In this day and age this receiver should have this!

We received our Wally and mobile Dish. We took it camping where we don't even have cell service and the area was highly wooded and it came right in! No problems with losing our signal and the weather was far from perfect. Love it!
